Anvil Gym – Terms and Conditions - 30/04/25
All membership terms and conditions are listed below.
This agreement commences once you have indicated your acceptance during the online sign-up process.
By using Anvil Gym, you agree to abide by the gym’s rules and policies.
1. Membership Payments & Price Adjustments
From time to time, we may need to increase the price of membership. You will be given at least 14 days’ notice of any incoming price increase, including when it takes effect and your new monthly rate. You may terminate your membership within the notice period in accordance with these terms. If you do not cancel before the effective date, your payment will automatically adjust.
2. Health & Safety Disclaimer
By joining Anvil Gym, you confirm you are in good health and capable of physical activity without risk to your safety or wellbeing. You agree to update us if your health status changes. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to use the facilities and properly equipped to do so.
Anvil Gym Limited accepts no responsibility for any accident, damage, injury, illness, or misadventure caused to or suffered by members in the gym or while engaging in gym activities. You acknowledge that gym environments may pose risks and agree to take personal responsibility for your safety and belongings.
3. Membership Conduct & Gym Rules
We may terminate your membership immediately if you breach the gym’s rules.
We reserve the right to close all or part of the gym for maintenance, events, or emergencies. These will be communicated when possible, but membership refunds will not be issued for such closures.
Rules for all members:
Re-rack all weights and equipment after use
Wear appropriate footwear at all times
Wipe down machines after use
Do not drop weights unnecessarily
Let others work in between sets
No access under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Respect all staff and fellow members
U16s must be accompanied by an adult
No offensive behaviour or swearing
Membership is non-transferable
Do not share your door access code or key fob
All members must have an active Club Right (Anvil Gym) app account
4. Membership Terms
You are responsible for your membership and any overpayments. Refunds will not be issued for duplicate or accidental payments on the users end.
Key fobs will be issued for free to new members.
If you are a returning member and do not have possession of your old key fob you will be required to pay £10 for a new one
If key fob is lost, damaged or unusable, a fee of £10 will be required for a replacement
Memberships are individual and non-transferable.
Joining fee and pro-rata first payment are taken on sign-up if applicable.
All membership fees are due on the 1st of each month.
If your membership or direct debit is shared or misused, a warning will be issued. Repeated offences may result in suspension or termination.
Bringing non-members into the gym without prior authorisation will result in a warning and day pass charge. Repeated breaches may lead to membership termination.
5. Cancellation Policy
30 days’ notice is required to cancel your membership.
To cancel, you must complete a cancellation form (available on our website, in the app, or by email request).
Membership is cancelled 30 days from the date the form is submitted.
Do not cancel your direct debit manually, this will not count as a ‘cancelled membership’. All cancellations must go through Anvil Gym Limited. Contact: admin@anvilgym.co.uk or 07511152482.
Management reserves the right to waive cancellation terms at their discretion.
6. Membership Freeze
Freeze requests require 10+ days' notice before the next payment date (1st of the month).
Minimum freeze duration: 1 month. Maximum: 2 months.
Freezing pauses access and payments but does not replace the 30-day cancellation notice, which begins after the freeze ends.
Freeze requests must be submitted via our freeze request form, available online or by email.
8. Direct Debit Policy
If changes occur to your DD amount or payment date, you will be notified at least 3 working days in advance.
If a payment fails, we will notify you. Repeated missed payments may result in suspension or termination.
Do not cancel your DD without informing us. All cancellations must go through admin@anvilgym.co.uk.
No refunds will be issued for overpayments or missed cancellation notice.
9. Day Passes, Trials & Offers
A day pass or free trial is valid once per person.
Gym tours are required for new visitors.
Trial passes do not guarantee access to busy classes.
Management may cancel or change promotional offers at any time.
Day/week passes are non-refundable.
Free passes cannot be used for overbooked classes.
10. Class Policy
Non-members pay £7.50 per class.
Classes must be booked through the Anvil Gym app.
Inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from a class.
11. Media & Photography
Anvil Gym Limited retains rights to all media taken on-site, including progress photos and videos.
By entering the gym, you waive rights to any media captured during classes or training.
Personal Trainers do not own client transformation photos; these belong to Anvil Gym Limited.
12. Privacy & Data
You may request removal of your email and/or phone number from our system.
